We are seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Program Manager to lead and elevate our Enrichment Services program. This is a strategic, people-focused leadership role focused on driving meaningful outcomes for individuals while building and developing high-performing teams. The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing service delivery, ensuring program excellence, and fostering a culture centered on client impact. This role also includes guiding clients through benefits and resource navigation, including Social Security Disability.
This role goes beyond traditional management; it is an opportunity to empower individuals who are blind or visually impaired to live independently and remain connected to their community. You will help shape and strengthen services, support a dedicated team, and contribute directly to meaningful, life-changing outcomes for those we serve.

Summary of Position
This role is primarily focused on team leadership and program management, with responsibility for overseeing service delivery, with a smaller component dedicated to guiding clients through benefits and resource navigation, including Social Security.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, coach, and support Enrichment staff by setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, and ensuring accountability
• Foster a positive, mission-driven culture focused on client impact
• Facilitate regular team and individual meetings.

Client Intake & Program Oversight
• Oversee client intake and ensure appropriate service placement
• Guide clients through programs that support their goals and independence
• Monitor participation, outcomes, and KPIs to ensure program effectiveness
• Identify client needs, trends, and service gaps to improve delivery and efficiency
• Partner with the Executive Director on program strategy, expansion, and continuous improvement

Disability Benefits Administration
• Provide guidance to clients navigating Social Security Disability
• Maintain a small caseload and ensure accurate documentation and compliance
• Complete benefits certification (training provided)

Community Partnerships & Outreach
• Build and maintain relationships with employers, schools, and association partners
• Serve as an ambassador at appropriate events and meetings to increase awareness and referrals.

Education/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
o Equivalent combination of education, leadership experience, and demonstrated success managing people and programs will be considered
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or diverse populations strongly preferred
