Job Summary:
The Enrichment Resource Advisor supports associates by ensuring their rights, dignity, and freedom of choice. They develop individualized care plans to promote independence and assist with decisions on personal matters, Social Security, benefits, and public transportation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage programs that meet the specific needs of Outlook associates.
- Establish and implement goals for Individualized Care Plans to enhance associates' independence.
- Provide individualized care to associates, promoting their rights, dignity, and freedom of choice.
- Assist associates in making informed decisions regarding personal and professional activities.
- Address confidential and sensitive matters in line with HIPAA and company policies.
- Provide comprehensive Social Security and local/federal benefits planning for associates.
- Assist with the coordination and application of public transportation services.
- Support associates in recreational and community activities to foster socialization and peer relationships.
- Assist in the development of effective communication and social skills for associates.
- Communicate tactfully and effectively with associates, family members, guardians, caseworkers, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the work readiness program, ensuring participants are prepared with the necessary skills and resources for employment success.
- Deliver result-oriented coaching and leadership training for management to address personnel challenges.
- Offer consultation and expert advice to management on employee relations and development strategies.
- Ensures accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of job responsibilities, maintaining a high standard of precision and thoroughness.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling).
- Strong understanding of social and independent living skills, community resource accessibility, and effective training methodologies, as well as assessment and evaluation techniques.
- Social Security certification is not required, but candidates must be willing to learn and pursue certification.
- Familiarity with state and federal benefits is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years of direct support experience is preferred.
